Elliott Jerome Brown Jr. (b. 1993, Long Island, NY) uses photography and sculpture to reflect on moments of intimacy, communion, and self-possession. He has been featured in exhibitions domestically and internationally. Brown Jr. is a recent recipient of the 2019 Rema Hort Mann Emerging Artist Grant. Additionally, he has participated in the New York Times Portfolio Review (2016), Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2017), and the St. Roch Community Church Artist Residency (2018-2019). In addition to his artistic practice, he has been commissioned by editorial outlets such as The New Yorker, Out, W, Cultured, Luncheon, and Pin-Up. He received his BFA in Photography from the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. He is currently represented by Nicelle Beauchene Gallery in New York.
